About The Little Green Village Shop"Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"
Hello, my name is Sam and I opened The Little Green Village Shop in July 2019.
We are all aware of the problem with single use plastic and the amount of unnecessary packaging wrapped around our food, It got me thinking about the way we shopped when I was a child and how much more enjoyable it was.
So I decided to open the Little Green Village Shop with the aim of helping to reduce plastic waste and support local businesses whilst offering a pleasurable, friendly shopping experience for the local community.
We have a wide range of dried goods, herbs and spices, all sold by weight so you can buy as much or as little as you like, which also helps with the reduction of food waste. You are welcome to bring in your own containers to be refilled, or we have recycled sterilised containers, and paper bags for those more impulsive visits!
You can also find all your household cleaning products for refilling which are all environmentally friendly and made in the UK by a wonderful company called SESI.
We additionally sell a wide range of toiletries from toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and sanitary products, all of which are ethically produced and kind to the environment. You can also find many locally produced and handmade items, perfect for unusual or last minute gifts!
I am also a registered and insured baker and daily we sell a variety of homemade goods, sausage rolls, homemade cakes & amp vegan bakes!
We may only be a small shop but we have a lot to offer!
Deliveries are offered to the local area via our Shop Share Community Scheme where regular customers volunteer to deliver orders en route within their own home/work/club community for a small fee to help them with fuel costs.
You can find us tucked away behind Blades Hairdressers, 16C Bulford Road, Durrington, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP4 8DJ.
